Laura Bradford is a poet and teacher living in France.

Her children’s poetry is inspired by classrooms, playgrounds, families, friendships — and her own experience of motherhood and raising two young boys. 

She writes to tune into the ups, downs, wobbles, worries, joys, daydreams — and all the bumps in the road that children feel so intensely.

With a strong inner child herself, Laura is increasingly realising that what she writes for children is often just as much for adults, and the child in all of us. 

Her voice is playful and accessible, with the intention of helping readers of any age recognise themselves in her words, name their big feelings, and know that all emotions are welcome.
